RULES
Below are some rule variants you can try when playing Reels and Deals: The Movie-Making Card Game!
Please email us at info(at)agmangames(dot)com and let us know which variants you like, or come up with your own!
First Time Playing
If it is your first time playing, start with three cards and a budget of $15 (instead of six cards and $12).
Longer Game
To end the game, a Player must complete three Scripts, two of which must be Feature Scripts. The Player who ends the game gets a 25 point bonus.Script Choice
When spending an Action to acquire a Script, a Player looks at the top two Scripts of the Script Pile. She keeps one, and puts the other on the bottom of the Script Pile.Going First Penalty
Whoever goes last starts with the usual $12 budget. Every Player in front of her loses $1 to start. For example, in a four player game, whoever goes first would start with $9.Boons
Boons are special cards that stay in play the entire game after they are purchased. Start the Boons in the Talent Agency, instead of the Talent that normally begin the game there. Players can start Bidding Wars for Boons as normal. We suggest using a number of Boons equal to the number of Players in the game, and randomly determining which Boons will be used.
The boons are:
